The Argentinean national squad qualified to the quarterfinals of Copa América-2007, after defeating Colombia 4-2, in the fixture held this Monday, at the José ‘Pachencho’ Romero Stadium, in Maracaibo, in Group C of the continental tournament.

The Argentineans won with goals scored by Hernán Crespo (penalty), Riquelme (two) and Diego Milito, and the Colombians reduced the deficit through Perea and Castrillón.

Argentina: Roberto Abbondanzieri – Javier Zanetti, Roberto Ayala, Gabriel Milito, Gabriel Heinze – Juan Verón (Luis González, 80), Javier Mascherano, Esteban Cambiasso – Juan Román Riquelme – Lionel Messi (Carlos Tévez, 84) and Hernán Crespo (Diego Milito, 21).
